Heart Murmurs
Heart murmurs arise when there is turbulent flow of blood within the heart. These murmurs may be present even at birth or may develop with time.
Heart murmurs might be innocent, but some might be a sign of serious heart disease. They can be caused by holes in the heart or abnormal heart valves and muscles. The unfortunate thing is that you may not know you have heart murmur and the heart goes on murmuring until it fails.
