Heart Burn
Heartburn is a burning sensation in your stomach, often mistaken for chest discomfort. Likewise, heart discomfort is often mistaken for stomach discomfort. The heart and the stomach are on the left side of the body. Heart in the chest, while stomach is in the abdomen.
Heartburn might get worse after eating and so might a heart attack. Many patients are treated for heartburn when it is a serious heart disease.
If you are above 40 years, hypertensive, or known to have heart disease, are obese, diabetic , or have kidney disease , don’t assume it is the stomach, it could be early sign of heart attack.
